Shutters

Besides decorative columns for exterior and interior applications, Columns Southeast offers Specialty Building Products for the residential and light commercial construction industry.  We call the products our "Plus" Products, hence the company name > Columns "Plus".

Columns Southeast offers several lines of Exterior Shutters.

We offer > "No Rot" - "No Warp" - CPVC Shutters.  They are available in "Pre-finished" colors only (required for warranty).  Several Styles are available: Raised Panel, Board 'N Batten, and Louvered (Adjustable, Fixed, or Faux Louvers) + the Bahama Style.  All shutters are available in various sizes (heights & widths in 1/4" increments).  Any pre-finished color can be specified using a Sherwin Williams' color chart.

We offer > REAL Wood Shutters: available in Redwood, Cedar, Mahogany, "Bald" Cypress + "C" & Btr Yellow Pine @ 1 3/8" thick.  All shutters can be ordered Primed for field paint application or Pre-finished in 9 stock colors.  Custom colors are also available.  Where staining is desired, these shutters can be shipped raw.  They are available in several styles including: Raised Panel, Board 'N Batten, & Louvered with fixed or stationary louvers and with 2 louver sizes.  Tilt bars are available for either Louvered Shutter style.  Bahama shutters are also available 1 3/8" thick and in 1/4" increments.  Wood shutters, as in other wood products, "DO NOT carry any type of actual or implied warranty", other than they will be free of manufacturing defects when they arrive at your destination.  As in any other exposed weed products, it is key to have Wood shutters pre-finished from the factory for maximum life span of the shutter & finished or field painted within a few days of delivery with high quality paint (refer to the paint supplier for their recommendations).  The shutters will still need periodic painting and/or maintenance, depending on their exposure to the elements to provide years of service life of the shutters and finish.

We also offer a Wood Composite line of exterior shutters manufactured using "Extira" brand Wood Composite material.  This material is 1 1/4" thick.  The composite shutters are available in the same sizes as the wood shutters and are also available primed or in 9 pre-finished colors.  "Extira" carries a manufacturer's warranty of 10 years on the sub-straight.

Depending on the application of the shutters, we offer various types of decorative shutter hardware.

We do not handle Vinyl shutters.
